"The way in which Graham and Amy held the container, the facilitation, was spot on - attuned compassion from two gentle, soul warriors who match each other, energetically and shamanically. There's love, there's deeper love, and then there's what Graham and Amy offer... words can't catch it."

"This retreat has given me a greater understanding of my power and potential. I feel more confident in my ability to love and be loved, and I now carry a deeper sense of purpose—one rooted in love, empathy, and connection."
My Journey & Approach
The path that led me to facilitate psychedelic retreats began with my own disconnection.
For years, my worth was tied to pleasing others. I had the outward markers of success—good job, nice home—but I was numb and exhausted. I had no idea how to reconnect with what was authentic in me or even what that was.
My healing journey started in 2014.
Outwardly, my life was going somewhere: good-hearted friends, a committed and loving relationship, an increasingly successful career in London, and a comfortable home in Cambridge.
A voice kept telling me, "Surely you should be happy by now..."
Beneath the still surface, I was profoundly numb and empty inside. I always felt like I was behind an invisible screen and could never get close to anyone. When I was with people, I longed to be alone, and when I was alone, I longed to be with people.
This push-and-pull dynamic left me exhausted, anxious, and always on the verge of giving up until the pressure became too great. Suddenly, a blast of energy from somewhere. I would survive the challenge by fighting back to complete work assignments, meet financial deadlines, or leave the house.
I was burned out, yet somewhere deep in my being, a flame still sparked and flickered patiently in the darkness.
Finding A New Path
Then everything changed.
A chance encounter with friends working with plant medicines sparked an ember that became an inferno of curiosity. Their visible transformation—a lightness and presence I hadn't seen or felt in them before—offered a glimpse of what might be possible.
Me being me, I went all-in.
My journey took me through many modalities and experiences—some transformative, some harmful. I explored ayahuasca ceremonies in the UK, Portugal and Peru, conscious sexuality work, and somatic experiencing therapy. Eventually, I found my way to training in Music Meditation and the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM).
Every powerful step, even the difficult ones with inadequate practitioners, taught me something essential about what creates true healing.
I learned as much from the poorly-held containers as I did from the many transformational experiences, giving me a profound understanding of what creates safety for deep exploration, which in some ways feels unsafe by design because of the vast permission a corrective container can hold and make space to emerge from the depths.
When I found Music Meditation, the modality I follow and practise, little did I realise the formative experiences I would resolve or put in their proper place, from childhood sexual abuse to a near-death experience drowning as a three-year-old.
With my mentors' exceptional healing support and depth-orientated education, I now offer this work as the deepest and truest reflection of my embodied experiences and essential nature.
Beyond The Protective Patterns
Through my healing, I discovered that a profound capacity for connection lies beneath our protective patterns. When we are ready to feel the emotions we've long suppressed, we find our way back to our core needs and authentic expression.
Many of us learned early that our needs were either too much or were exploited by those who should have protected us. We adapted by disconnecting from these needs, creating complex protective patterns that may have helped us survive childhood but now limit our capacity for aliveness and connection.
This understanding guides my work today—creating a permission field where participants can descend into deeper emotional layers supported by attuned presence. A container where what was once too painful can finally be felt and met with self-love, compassion, and forgiveness.
The Transformational Journey
I create containers for people to reconnect with abandoned, suppressed and hidden parts of themselves, putting them back in touch with their will and longing to live fully.
Through a combination of therapeutic approaches, including elements of NARM's trauma-informed framework, I support participants to:
Move beyond problematic patterns to discover authentic self-expression from the heart
Connect with deeper emotions long suppressed in the body to create more emotional freedom and flow
Recognise, honour and connect to the needs that once felt unsafe
Integrate these insights and openings into everyday life
The transformations I witness never cease to move me: people reconnecting with their life force, their emotions flowing more freely, their presence deeper and more alive.
This isn't just about processing the past; it's about reclaiming the parts of ourselves we abandoned in order to survive. The opportunity is to come home more and more to the fullness of being a vibrant and heart-led human with an unshakeable felt sense of trust.
My Commitment
My own journey through trauma healing has given me a profound respect for this work.
I maintain my personal practice through ongoing supervision, education, and therapeutic process.
This commitment ensures I can create the safest and most effective container possible for transformative experiences.
I bring my training and experience moving from disconnection to authenticity to this work. This integration of professional development and personal healing allows me to walk alongside others on their journey with presence and compassion.
I'd love to hear from you if you're feeling called to this work.
Please book a discovery call so we can connect and get to know each other, and I can share how my containers could support you.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Music Meditation Retreats
What exactly happens during a Music Meditation retreat?
Music Meditation retreats are four-day residential experiences designed to support deep inner exploration and healing. The retreat includes therapeutic coaching, sharing circles, guided meditations, nature walks, and two profound guided sessions with specific medicines chosen for their specific and complementary healing properties. Throughout the retreat, you'll be supported by experienced facilitators in a safe, contained environment focused on reconnection to your authentic self.
Who is this retreat for?
These retreats are ideal for those who have already begun their healing journey and are ready to go deeper. Participants often describe feeling "stuck" despite years of talk therapy or other modalities. Many are drawn to this work to address patterns of people-pleasing, emotional numbness, or disconnection from their authentic needs. The retreat environment is well-suited for those looking to move beyond intellectual understanding into embodied transformation. We welcome the mind, and it has its place!
Do I need prior experience with psychedelics?
Prior experience is not required, though some familiarity with inner psychological work is beneficial. We carefully screen all participants to ensure this approach suits your specific needs and circumstances. Most important is your readiness to engage with your inner world with openness and courage.
Is this therapy?
While the retreats incorporate therapeutic elements and are informed by approaches like NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model), they are not traditional psychotherapy. Rather, they offer a unique integration of therapeutic principles, somatic awareness, and carefully guided medicine work. Many participants find this approach complements their ongoing therapy or coaching work.
Where are the retreats held?
Retreats are held in a comfortable, private residence in the UK. Exact location details are provided to confirmed and paid participants. The setting has been chosen for its privacy, peacefulness, and supportive atmosphere.
Preparation & Practicalities
How do I prepare for the retreat?
Upon acceptance to a retreat, you'll receive comprehensive preparation materials. These include guidance on physical, emotional, and mental preparation in the weeks leading up to the retreat. We recommend reducing or eliminating alcohol, recreational drugs, and certain supplements for at least 5 days before the retreat. We'll also explore your intentions and expectations through pre-retreat communications.
What about medications?
Some medications may interact with the medicines used during the retreat. During the application process, you must disclose all medications you're taking. You may need to consult your healthcare provider and request alternatives if certain medications create contraindications. Your safety is our highest priority, and we want to help you go as deeply into your process as possible.
How many participants attend each retreat?
Retreats are intentionally kept small, typically with 4-6 participants, to ensure each person receives personalised attention and support. This intimate setting creates a container of trust and safety essential for deep work.
How much does it cost?
Retreat experiences cost £1250.
We usually keep one place available at a slightly lower cost, so please be in contact via WhatsApp if you’re experiencing financial challenges yet have a strong desire and a solid psychological foundation from which to do this kind of work.
What's included in the retreat cost?
The retreat fee includes all pre-retreat materials, accommodations, nutritious vegetarian meals, facilitation, and medicines. It also covers a group integration call approximately three weeks after the retreat to support your ongoing process.
The Work & Results
What makes Music Meditation different from other approaches?
Music Meditation offers a unique combination of trauma-informed therapeutic principles with carefully selected music and medicines to facilitate deep emotional processing. Unlike some approaches that focus primarily on peak experiences, our work emphasizes reconnection with suppressed emotions and authentic needs in a lasting, supported way. The facilitators work actively with you during the sessions, offering guidance and support rather than simply "sitting" or notetaking.
How do you ensure safety?
Safety is created through multiple layers of careful preparation. This includes thorough health screening during the application process, preparation support before the retreat, creating an appropriate set and setting, experienced facilitation during the sessions, and integration support afterwards. Our facilitators are trained in working with psychological material that may arise and maintain ongoing supervision and training.
What kind of results can I expect?
While everyone's experience is unique, participants commonly report feeling more connected to themselves and others, having greater access to their emotions, experiencing reduced anxiety and depression, and feeling more authentic in their relationships. Many describe a profound shift in their relationship with themselves - moving from self-criticism to self-compassion. These changes typically deepen over time with integration.
What happens afterwards?
The retreats can catalyze significant shifts that continue to unfold over weeks and months. Integration is key to sustaining and deepening these changes. We provide specific integration practices and a follow-up group call to support this process. Many participants find that the insights gained during the retreat become touchstones for ongoing personal evolution.
Next Steps
How do I apply?
The application process begins with a discovery call before filling out our intake form upon request, which explores your background and biography, current challenges, and motivations for this work. We take great care in ensuring this work is right for each participant.
What if I'm not sure this is right for me?
I offer a free discovery call to explore whether this approach aligns with your needs and readiness. This lets us both ask questions and discern if the approach and timing suit you. There's no obligation, and sometimes, the most supportive thing I can do is recommend a different modality or suggest preparation steps before engaging with this work.
Do you offer any support between retreats?
Yes, I offer one-on-one online coaching sessions that can be valuable before a retreat for preparation or afterwards for integration. These sessions draw on NARM principles to support your ongoing connection to yourself and provide continuity in your healing journey. If you’d like to learn more, jump on a discovery call.
How often do you run retreats?
Retreats are offered several times yearly, with specific dates available upon request. If you want to be notified of upcoming dates, please message me on WhatsApp.
